(Head Office: Kobe, Japan; President: Hiroshi Ikeda) has officially joined the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) as a registered TNFD Adopter. The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures is an international initiative designed to help organizations understand, manage, and disclose the financial risks and opportunities that arise from their interactions with nature and biodiversity. Modeled after the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), the TNFD expands the focus beyond carbon and climate to include the broader natural systems that sustain life and business — forests, water, soil, and species. By following the TNFD framework, companies can better identify how their operations depend on and affect natural ecosystems, and how changes in biodiversity could influence long-term business resilience. The TNFD framework is organized around four key pillars: 1. **Governance** – how nature-related risks and opportunities are overseen within an organization. 2. **Strategy** – how these risks and opportunities impact the company’s business plans and financial outlook. 3. **Risk and Impact Management** – how the organization identifies, assesses, and manages its nature-related impacts. 4. **Metrics and Targets** – the goals, indicators, and data used to measure progress. ### Why Mitsuboshi Belting Joined the TNFD Initiative At Mitsuboshi Belting, we have long been committed to sustainability, transparency, and responsible growth.
