Warehouse Operator - 2nd shift

Main Function:

Primary responsibility is to pick, pack, and ship belts according to customer specifications.

Duties:

  • Packing belts
  • Order picking
  • Processing orders
  • Stocking
  • Sorting
  • Replenishment

Requirements:

  • Must have the capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long hours
  • Must be able to work 3rd shift, 11pm to 7:30am
  • 18 years of age

Pay and Benefits:

Production Group Leader

Main Function:

Provide direction and leadership to production employees in order to achieve company goals. Ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are maintained on a daily basis with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Duties:

  • Ensure all production personnel understand and meet customer specific requirements through knowledge of the company Quality Management System
  • Provide direction to employees while promoting the highest level of safety, quality, and productivity
  • Train and continuously monitor the work of production employees to meet safety and quality targets
  • Schedule production employees accordingly in order to achieve production and customer requirements.
  • Maintain departmental day-to-day production and cleaning activities
  • Monitor and prioritize workflow and schedules
  • Motivate, develop, and engage production employees in an effort to improve employee morale and relationships between the union workforce and management
  • Promote continuous improvement; make recommendations to reduce waste and identify process improvements
  • Ensure the proper reporting of scrap and rejects by production operators. Review and communicate quality results daily
  • Promote a safe work environment by reporting all accidents and near misses. Investigate all occurrences and identify corrective actions to eliminate recurrence
  • Manage administrative duties; scheduling, production reporting, competence and training records, company policy or attendance violations, etc.
  • Promote a clean and safe workplace through production floor organization and cleaning activities

Requirements:

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience supervising in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to coach and mentor production employees
  • 1st shift 7:00am to 3:30pm, some overtime expected

Production Engineer

Main Function:

The Production Engineer will maintain and improve the efficiency, quality, productivity, and safety of the company’s production by providing engineering/technical support to the production areas. 

Duties:

  • Investigate and solve quality problems caused by man, machinery, materials, or methods
  • Responsible for scrap/cost/waste/cycle time reductions; usage of raw materials and yield improvements
  • Assist in development of FMEAs, control plans, PPAPs; perform capability studies
  • Oversee the production of sample builds; follow the production process from beginning to end as well as collect and organize data in order to prepare inspection reports
  • Assist in development and implementation of new processes and process changes
  • Collect and analyze data, prepare technical reports, charts, and graphs, analyze trends, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Interact with production personnel to ascertain equipment problems and observe equipment to determine what repairs or modifications are necessary
  • Learn and thoroughly comprehend the dynamics and operation of new and existing machinery and materials. Work with production and other related personnel on initial startup and troubleshooting. Assist in operator training and qualification
  • Measure and assess current business practices and identify opportunities to operate more effectively (quicker task completion, process cost reduction, increased process reliability, automation) while maintaining quality standards
  • Support other departments in new product development, design of required tooling, and line trials
  • Perform productivity and cost reduction projects plant-wide
  • Create and update process procedures and work instructions to ensure documents are accurate and understandable
  • Act as a technical resource for production and for Continuous Improvement Processes in engineering

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Technology
  • Rubber or polymer mixing and calendaring experience preferred
  • Knowledge if IATF 16949 and Lean Six Sigma preferred
  • May be required to travel internationally and work weekends or holiday shutdown periods

Industrial Maintenance Group Leader

Main Function:

Ensure the maintenance goals are met in accordance with quality and safety goals.   Oversee, lead, and develop a highly experienced skilled workforce within a Union environment that will provide and maintain continuous productivity with cost reduction in mind.

Duties:

  • Supervise daily activities of the department
  • Schedule maintenance team members to meet the demands of the business
  • Ensures that maintenance work order targets are met on a consistent basis
  • Resolution of issues (service, quality, costs)
  • Recommends modifications to equipment to the Maintenance Manager
  • Manage and oversee administrative functions to ensure that all paperwork is processed efficiently and in a timely manner and meets all compliance requirements
  • Assure safety related activities i.e. safety talks, thorough accident investigation, good housekeeping are maintained and followed continuously
  • Monitors and controls environmental impact in relationship to all design and maintenance of MBL facility and production equipment
  • Possess skill and knowledge to coach, mentor, train, all Maintenance Department associates in order to develop a highly experience skilled workforce

Requirements:

  • Industrial Electrician Certificate or Associate’s Degree in a related field, preferred
  • Minimum four (4) years industry experience

  • Proficient in A.C. and D.C. motors and controls, 480 VAC

Staff Accountant
Hybrid

Main Function:

The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the Controller by performing monthly accounting activities and must have knowledge of accounting concepts, practices and procedures, adapting to change well. Duties include performing general ledger account reconciliations, preparing journal entries and month end close, and providing accounting support to other departments, as necessary.

Duties:

  • Perform monthly close processes and account reconciliations in support of the monthly close process
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations; explain period fluctuations and research/clear account transactions
  • Perform assigned monthly close processes and book general ledger journal entries with proper support, timely and accurately
  • Perform roll forward schedules for selected general ledger accounts
  • Assist with Standard Costing analysis and annual standard cost revision process
  • Maintain Fixed Asset records utilizing Fixed Asset CS software
  • Application of J-SOX internal controls over areas of responsibility
  • Support Accounts Payable process by assigning general ledger account codes to PO’s
  • Support financial audits
  • Update instructions for current procedures/processes, as needed
  • Perform ad hoc analyses related to assigned responsibilities
  • Provide financial data related to assigned responsibilities to fulfill both internal and external requests for financial data efficiently
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that adds value to company

Requirements:

  • BA Accounting
  • 1-3 years of related accounting experience
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, index(match), xlookups) SQL/PowerPivot is a plus
