Industrial Maintenance Electrician

What you will do:

  • Wearing all appropriate personal protective equipment, maintaining a clean and orderly work area, following proper work procedures.
  • Comply with OSHA safety rules.
  • Installs, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions.
  • Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs and/or installations.
  • Repairs and maintains high voltage systems.
  • Understanding of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Understanding of electrical application for high and low voltage electric system.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2 years Industrial Electrician experience. **Electrician certificate is a plus**
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

  • Must be able to stand for long hours, work with arms overhead for short lengths of time, and capable of climbing a ladder 20'
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift, 3pm to 11:30pm M-F

Logistics Clerk

What you will do:

  • Prepare documents needed to process customer orders including pick tickets and labels per customer specifications.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation for domestic and international shipments including but not limited to bills of lading, customs documents, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customer ASN’s.
  • Perform shipping acknowledgements and confirmations via customer web sites.
  • Assist with incoming carrier calls and carrier scheduling.
  • Assist with dispatch of trucks, brokers, and couriers for domestic and international shipments.
  • Serve as liaison between Customer Service and Warehouse staff.
  • Scan barcoded shipments and apply labels according to customer specifications.
  • Assist management in resolution of issues and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Create and maintain customer files.

Qualifications:

  • GED or High School diploma, with 2 years related experience.
  • Intermediate computer skills; ERP, internet for customer web sites.
  • Minimum beginner level Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Superior attention to detail and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a hectic environment.

Accounting Manager

What you will do:  

The Accounting Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role supervises the accounting team, manages the monthly close process, and ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal control standards. The Accounting Manager will also play a key role in process improvement, system modernization, and readiness for MBL’s upcoming ERP transition, partnering closely with the Controller on strategic initiatives. 

Leadership & Oversight

  • Supervise and develop a 4-person accounting team responsible for AP, AR, GL, and cost accounting.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes — prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial results in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Review financial reports, account analyses, and reconciliations prepared by staff.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit activities.

Financial & Cost Accounting

  • Oversee cost accounting functions including standard cost maintenance, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
  • Review and approve key accounting estimates, recurring accruals, and cost allocations.
  • Ensure proper capitalization, depreciation, and asset disposals in the fixed asset subledger.
  • Monitor and improve inventory and cost-of-sales reporting accuracy.

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls in accordance with J-SOX and company policies.
  • Review and update accounting procedures and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and local financial policies.

Process & Systems Improvement

  • Partner with Controller on the ERP modernization project (target 2027) to document current processes, identify pain points, and help design improved workflows.
  • Support automation, system integration, and reporting improvements using SQL-driven and Excel-based solutions.
  • Evaluate current accounting tools and recommend upgrades or efficiencies.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with operations, HR, and finance leadership to align accounting practices with business objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and variance explanations to management.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the accounting team and external auditors, tax consultants, and other third parties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge (U.S. GAAP).
  • Experience managing accounting staff and reviewing work for accuracy and compliance.
  • Solid understanding of cost accounting, inventory control, and manufacturing operations.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL-based reporting a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems (AS400, SAP, or equivalent); enthusiasm for system change management and modernization.
  • Strong analytical skills, judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a process improvement mindset. 

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or team lead responsibilities.
  • Experience managing a month-end close process and preparing financial statements.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or cost accounting environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • CPA license CPA eligible preferred; Master’s degree in Accounting or MBA is a plus.
