Snowmobiles

Snowmobiles use Mitsuboshi Double Cog Variable Speed (DCVS) belts, which are mounted between the drive and driven pulleys in the CVT system. These belts are designed to handle high torque and fluctuating loads, ensuring reliable performance in extreme cold and deep snow.

 

 

Scooters

Scooters use Mitsuboshi Variable Speed Belts for smooth, automatic acceleration—thanks to excellent flexibility and deformation resistance. EV scooters often use our Rear Wheel Drive Timing Belts, which deliver quiet, efficient power even in dusty or muddy conditions.

 

 

ATVs (All-Terrain Vehicles)

Mitsuboshi CVT belts are used in the continuously variable transmission (CVT) systems of ATVs, positioned between the primary (drive) and secondary (driven) clutches. These belts manage torque transfer and speed changes across uneven terrain, enabling smooth transitions without shifting gears.

 

 

UTVs (Utility Task Vehicles)

Mitsuboshi CVT belts are located inside the UTV’s CVT housing, transferring power from the engine's drive clutch to the driven clutch that connects to the rear axle. This setup allows the vehicle to handle heavy loads, steep climbs, and rough trails with consistent power.

 

 

Golf Carts (Gas-Powered)

Mitsuboshi CVT belts in gas-powered golf carts connect the engine to the driven pulley, automatically adjusting speed without shifting. Housed in the transmission case, they provide smooth, quiet acceleration—ideal for courses, resorts, and utility use.

 

 

Go-Karts and Mini-Buggies

In recreational vehicles like go-karts and mini-buggies, Mitsuboshi CVT belts are positioned between the engine and driven pulley. These belts provide seamless acceleration and torque control, making them ideal for both casual driving and competitive racing.

Mitsuboshi Rear Wheel Drive Timing Belts are widely used in EV scooters due to their high transmission performance and low noise, even in dusty or muddy conditions. Compared to chains, they reduce sound pressure by up to 7% (*1), require no re-tensioning or oil lubrication, and are 10% lighter—contributing to better energy efficiency and reduced maintenance. These belts also offer excellent durability and improve transmission efficiency by up to 0.4% compared to chain drives (*2), making them a quiet, clean, and reliable choice for modern electric scooters.
