Freespan™ Belt is a polyurethane timing belt consisting of thermoplastic polyurethane and steel cords. This belt is suitable for synchronous transportation and power transmission requiring accurate positioning such as automatic door systems or industrial robots. The tension members are parallel to each other to ensure a suitable synchronous drive. This polyurethane belt also demonstrates notable resistance to chemicals.
Various shapes of protrusions can be attached to the back of the belt. Since it is integrally molded with a special mold, it has excellent productivity and the protrusions are hard to peel off. Furthermore, the incorporation of colorable urethane enables the option to customize the belt's color according to specific preferences.
